Futagami is an ordinary high school student who wants absolutely nothing to do with love—let alone marriage. But one day, when he opens his front door, he finds a literal grim reaper standing there—complete with a skull mask and a giant scythe! Her name is Hakiri, a reaper from the spirit world who’s come to ensure his death. The catch? His foretold cause of death is the first-ever case of death by marriage. When Futagami insists he has no romantic prospects, Hakiri responds, “Then I’ll be your bride.” Thus begins a shocking "marriage equals instant death" romantic comedy!
