Raised by a father who strictly drilled the mantra 'Never quit halfway' into him, 26-year-old Mejiro Sasaoka works in sales for a venture company, selling devices to hair salons—a job he took after being invited by an acquaintance. However, the products are riddled with defects and won't sell. His subordinates suddenly quit via 'resignation agencies,' and he is forced to handle everything from social media management to cold-calling. Exhausted by late-night overtime and sexual harassment via DMs, Mejiro continues to push himself to the brink, shackled by his father’s words: 'Do not quit.' In the midst of this despair, Mejiro is approached by a man in a Buddhist monk's robe who calls himself Kurokawa. His profession? He is an agent for the very 'Resignation Agency' that Mejiro’s subordinates once used—!
