Bartz is a humble tamer who never asked for much — just a modest adventurer enjoying a carefree life with his contracted beasts, taking on small, unremarkable quests day by day. One day, while handling yet another routine request, he’s visited by Noelie, a young woman who used to be one of the orphans he once looked after.
