Lydia Veneska, the royal magic knight, was feared and called the "White Devil. However, she retired from the army due to an injury she sustained while protecting the crown prince, and no one knows where she has been since. Six months later, Lydia is found in a country town in the remote Gorlan territory. She is the proprietress of the inn "Elmwood Manor," which has a reputation for its cuisine. A day in the life of Lydia is busy. She takes care of the cows and horses, works in the fields, does the laundry, and cooks for the guests. However, the contracted house elves and children nearby help her with these tasks. Then one day, a large, dark-haired man, obviously in the same line of work, and his retinue come to take shelter from the rain. After she cooks for them, her frontier life changes.
