This is the land of vegetables—Saisai-koku. In Nasuten Village, where the eggplants live, the villagers are busy preparing for a festival. But that day, when Nanana, the village’s guardian, returned from digging the soil, what he saw were burning houses and the charred remains of his companions… The sole survivor—Nanana. Who attacked the village? Why were the eggplants targeted? Thus begins the most fearsome revenge tale in the history of Saisai-koku, led by a lone eggplant.
