At 26, Kimiko has been dating her boyfriend Kanata for nearly a year. He’s kind, gentle, and everything she could ask for— yet, the shadow of his ex-girlfriend, Ai, never leaves her heart. His phone wallpaper, his social media follows… everything seems to whisper that Ai still lingers somewhere inside Kanata’s heart. One day, Kimiko discovers that Kanata sent Ai a birthday message. Unable to bear it, she runs out of the house and makes a desperate wish to the heavens: “Please, God… erase all of Kanata’s memories of his ex-girlfriend.” The next moment, Kimiko finds herself time-leaping— back to the day of Kanata’s university entrance ceremony, before he even met Ai! And standing before her is the younger Kanata, smiling just as she remembers him. “So… this Kanata hasn’t met Ai yet—right?” Determined and hopeful, Kimiko clenches her fists. “This time, I’ll make sure he falls for me first!” A bittersweet, time-travel romantic comedy about love, jealousy, and second chances.
