A popular work by a talented Spanish artist arrives on Comic Fire! 'Long ago, our ancestors forged a pact with the gods in exchange for divine gifts. Thanks to them, life in the frozen lands became somewhat easier. However, when sea monsters suddenly appeared, the waters were stained with their black blood, and the land that had once received the gods' blessings was torn asunder.' Aki, a young boy from a clan capable of manipulating ice, must pass a village ritual to be recognized as an adult. Despite failing numerous times, Aki faces the challenge once again, determined to succeed this time under the watchful eye of his brother Yako, a skilled hunter. Little did Aki know, however, that on this very day, his life would change forever.
