This romantic comedy revolves around Makoto Sannomiya, a stoic high school boy, and his encounter with his eccentric fiancée. On his first day at a new school, Makoto delivers a composed self-introduction to his classmates. However, he’s secretly anticipating meeting one particular girl—Azami Yako, the daughter of a wealthy CEO and his arranged fiancée. Makoto has seen photos of Azami from her middle school days, picturing her as a graceful and refined young lady. But when the moment of their fateful meeting finally arrives, reality shatters his expectations. Azami turns out to be far from the elegant heiress Makoto imagined. Instead, she’s jittery, sports unkempt hair, has terrible table manners, and is endlessly chatty. Her demeanor completely defies the refined image of a young lady, leaving Makoto both bewildered and intrigued.
